To help with monitoring the biodiversity at its Conservation Areas, the RRCA is encouraging visitors to engage their inner biologist and identify the various plant and animal species they find at Cooper Marsh, Charlottenburgh Park, and Gray's Creek Conservation Areas by using iNaturalist’s free Seek mobile app.

The Seek app, available for both iOS and Android, is a powerful and easy to use tool for the local community to help in biodiversity monitoring. Visitors to the RRCA's Conservation Areas can identify and learn about the plants and animals they observe simply by snapping a picture on their phone. Then, with the push of a button, the location of their observations can be shared to iNaturalist, providing the RRCA with valuable data about the species living its Conservation Areas.
