Charlottenburgh Park Update

May 14, 2021

The RRCA’s Charlottenburgh Park beach and campground in Summerstown were set to open on May 21.

As per the province-wide state of emergency and Stay-at-Home order in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the following will not be permitted at the Park until at least June 2:

•    Day-use admission
•    Transient camping
•    Beach
•    Picnic area
•    Other recreational facilities

RRCA will be refunding May 21 – June 2 transient camping (i.e. overnight, weekly, monthly) reservations at Charlottenburgh Park.

As per the provincial government’s orders, campgrounds may be open to those permitted to be there by the terms of a full season contract (i.e. seasonal campers).  All recreational facilities in the campground and all other shared facilities in the campground, other than washrooms and showers, must be closed.  Seasonal campers will receive an update from the park with details on the precautionary measures in place.

RRCA will continue monitoring the provincial orders and will issue updates as required.
