Earth Day

The Raisin Region Conservation Authority celebrates Earth Day every year in April, by giving over 2000 conifer seedlings to landowners living in the Raisin Region watershed, including residents of the City of Cornwall.

Family Fishing Day

Every year in July, in conjunction with the Ministry of Natural Resources’ Ontario Family Fishing Week, the RRCA holds a Family Fishing Day.  On this day, everyone can enjoy a “license free” day of fishing at Gray’s Creek Conservation Area.  Free use of fishing gear, a BBQ and prizes are available.

Snowshoe Rentals

During the winter months, snowshoe rentals are available to the public.  To reserve your snowshoes, please contact the office at 613-938-3611 a few days prior to confirm availability.  The cost is $7.00 per pair/per day or $14.00 per pair/per weekend.  We accept cash, debit, Visa or Mastercard.  **School groups and non-profit organizations are charged 50% of cost.

A copy of your credit card or driver's license is required at time of pick up. You will be charged $100.00 for every pair that is not returned or damaged.
